Introduction

The Reports tools include a range of pre-built templates and formatting options, enabling users to customize reports based on their specific needs and requirements. FramworX supports different types of reports, such as trend analysis, performance analysis, and efficiency analysis, providing users with a comprehensive view of the system performance and behavior.

Reports tools include various sharing and distribution options, enabling users to share reports with different stakeholders, such as operators, managers, and maintenance personnel. Different output formats are supported, such as PDF, Excel, and HTML, ensuring that reports can be easily accessed and shared across different platforms. The platform can also leverage the power of web services to interact with external applications or systems to build more powerful reports.

Key Functionalities

Manage WebData

WebData encapsulates everything needed to exchange JSON, XML, or HTML data with other applications or save its contents to a file.

External Application Data Exchange

Leverage the power of web services to interact with external applications or systems, allowing FrameworX to access, manipulate, and share data through standardized communication protocols like HTTP and RESTful APIs. This enables integration with diverse software systems such as ERP, BI tools, and custom applications, enhancing data sharing and collaboration.

Architecture Implementation

FrameworX's web services integration supports various architectural implementations, such as Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservices. This flexibility allows for seamless integration within existing IT infrastructures, accommodating the unique requirements of each project and promoting a scalable, modular approach to system design.

Built-in Report Designer

FrameworX includes a simple Report layout editor integrated with the engineering workspace. Generate visually appealing and informative reports in PDF or text format, complete with charts, tables, and other graphical elements.

Scheduling and Notifications
Set up report schedules and email notifications to automatically deliver reports to stakeholders, keeping them informed of essential insights and updates.

Data Access Toolkit

A complete .NET Data Access library is available to create custom reporting solutions or to integrate with Microsoft Office, SQL server reporting services or other vendors tools. A COM model API is also available to be used from Excel VBA and JavaScript applications.

Create Forms

Design customizable and interactive forms to display real-time or historical data and capture user input, streamlining data presentation and management.

Any symbol from the real-time displays can be included in the Report. The dynamic behavior of the symbol, such as color, text output, and rotation, are all updated using the current tag values when creating the report. User controls, like Trend and Bar charts can be added as well. The contents of database tables and queries can be added to the reports. The queries and report generation execute in isolated processes, not interfering with the real-time processing.
