When Resizing Objects with the SHIFT pressed, the objects will resize proportionally to its original Width/Height

Ctrl + Resize Thumb

When resizing a group while holding the CTRL key, the size of the internal elements of the group will be updated. When ungrouping, the elements will revert to their original size.
