Overview

Report WebData allows you to interact with and manipulate data entries directly through the Web Data Editor, an integral part of the reporting and data management functionalities.

Configuring the Reports webData

In the Web Data Editor, you can create, modify, or delete data entries according to your project requirements.

  1. Go to Reports → Web Data.
  2. Click the "Add" button to create a new Web Data entry, and fill in the following columns:

Report Configuration Properties

Field

Description

Name

Provide Assign a unique name for to your Web Data entry for easy identification.

Encoding

Select Chooses the appropriate right encoding format for the data exchange. The options are Options include JSON, XML, HTML, and Text.

DefaultURL

Enter Inputs the default primary URL for accessing the data source.

Authorization

Configure any required authorization settings. You can configure as Sets up necessary authorization parameters. Options range from No Auth, Bearer Token, Basic Auth with a (Username and Password or a ), to Custom authorization.

Headers

Specify Indicates any additional extra headers needed required for the data request.

SaveFileName

Define Defines the file name for saving the data.

Length------------------------

Defines the length of the WebData.

TemplateID

Associate Associates a template ID with the Web Data entry.

Description

Add Adds an optional description for the Web Data entry.
